Abidjan, Ivory Coast –– Republique de Cote D’Ivorie citizens received a massive boost to their employment prospects today as DOGOH Franck Madou, Director General of Employment and Social Protection, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TrustLogics, a U.S. based platform for secure professional networking and shorter hiring cycles. The agreement represents the culmination of a months-long effort to explore potential benefits of integrating the TrustLogics system in the Cote D’Ivoire employment market.
Mr. Madou explained that the primary objective of this partnership is to make all employment recruitment processes in the country more efficient by harnessing innovative software solutions. “TrustLogics also has the potential to serve as a global connecting gateway to improve the talent recognition and availability of the people of Cote d’Ivoire, for both national and international opportunities,” he said.
Srinivas Gupta, the CEO of TrustLogics, also conveyed his pleasure at the signing of the MoU, and went on to elaborate that the platform could play a critical role in addressing the key challenges facing all governments: creating fair employment opportunities for all citizens, and providing the opportunity for qualified people to be considered fairly for national as well as international jobs. “Both recruiters and job seekers will benefit from verified and validated information, in contrast to the present reliance on resumes and job applications that contain largely unverified information. You can ‘trust’ TrustLogics because ‘know your customer’ is a key component of the system,” he added.
The MoU is expected to kickstart serious consideration into how the L’Emploi et la Protection Sociale can be deployed to operate more effectively, and the recruitment challenges in the employment sector can be dealt with. The feedback generated is then anticipated to dictate the formation of a road map for the eventual implementation of the TrustLogics system in Cote d’Ivoire.
